After You Send: A Reply in 24 Hours, a Feasibility Review in 48 Hours
Within 24 hours on working days:
the development manager confirms what arrived and, if a required item is missing, lists everything still needed in one email.
Within 48 hours of a complete spec:
your feasibility review arrives. For each garment it states whether we can build it to your spec, the pattern and fabric direction we propose, including the base fabric for each temperature band, and the sampling plan with dates.
A bib, skinsuit or tri suit is assessed against your pad supplier's specification.
Before the first sample is cut:
the pattern maker draws the cutting diagram, and the colour and print technician prints a strike-off on every base fabric in your set for your colour card signatures.
First sample in 5–7 days,
each one sent with a measurement report checked against your size chart.
The first 2 revision rounds
carry no extra sampling fee, and every change goes into the revision log.

Your colour standard:
give us a physical swatch or a colour-system reference.
For rework:
post the reference garment to the development studio, or send photos and its current specification first.

Your Development Manager and the Three Specialists Behind the Review
The development manager issues the feasibility review, schedules sampling, runs the revision rounds and signs off the spec pack.
The development manager brings in
the pattern maker
for fit and grading, the sample technician
for sewing and measurement, andthe colour and print technician
for strike-offs and colour cards.
Fit is decided by the pattern maker, sizes by your confirmed size chart, and colour by your signed colour standard.
Every decision reaches you in writing. The four roles and the development studio are introduced on about us.
Confidential Project Files and an NDA Before Development
Your patterns, cutting diagrams, spec pack and colour parameters are used on your project only. They are not reused for other clients and are not shown on this site.
Tick the NDA box on the form, and we sign an NDA with you before development starts.
At sign-off the spec pack, colour parameters and revision log are handed to you.
Bulk Production and Team Ordering Through Our Sister Sites
Production handoff:
when your engagement model is development with production handoff, the development manager passes your signed spec pack to cyclingapparelfactory.com for bulk production.
You do not resend your files.
Team ordering:
club and team ordering, with rider sizes and rosters, is handled at teamcyclingkits.com. The development manager's reply names that door when your enquiry is an order for riders.
Projects Already in Development or Signed Off
Next season or a repeat project:
give your project name. Each spec pack, colour parameter and revision log is kept on file with the project, so the next season starts from the same pattern and the same colour standard.
A change to a confirmed spec:
send the change to the development manager. It opens a new sampling round, and the change is logged by cutting panel with the reason.
A new garment added to a signed set:
it adds its own cutting diagram, graded pattern, fabric specification, decoration map, size chart and seam notes.
A new colour card is needed only when the garment uses a new base fabric.
