Privacy Policy for Pro Cycling Apparel Enquiries
Last updated:
The Short Version
This page covers everything procyclingapparel.com does with information, in four sentences first and in detail after that.
- We collect what you type into a development request form, the files you choose to send us for your project, and the technical request data that any web host records when a page is loaded.
- We use it to answer your development enquiry, to prepare a feasibility review, and to run sampling and the spec pack for your project.
- We keep your project files to your project only, and we run no analytics, no advertising pixels, no heatmaps and no third-party chat tools on this site.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold by emailing sales@procyclingapparel.com.
Every section below ends with a way to check what it says, because a privacy policy is only useful if you can test it against the site you are actually using.
Who Runs This Site and How to Reach Us
procyclingapparel.com is operated by Pro Cycling Apparel, the race cycling apparel development studio this site describes. Everything on this page applies to the site and to the enquiries and project files that reach us through it.
For any question about your information, the contact points are the same ones printed in the footer of every page:
- Phone:
- +86 177 0272 7677
- WhatsApp:
- +86 177 0272 7677, the same number
- Office hours:
- Monday to Saturday, 9AM–6PM (GMT+8)
- Location:
- China
Privacy questions go to the same inbox as development enquiries. There is no separate privacy department and no form you need to find; one email to sales@procyclingapparel.com reaches the people who hold your enquiry.
To check it, compare the contact details above with the footer of any page on this site. They are the same details.
What the Development Request Forms Ask For
Fourteen pages on this site each carry a development request form. Every one of them asks for the same four basics:
Your name, so the reply is addressed to a person.
Your company, so we know which brand, federation or team the project belongs to.
Your role, so we know whether we are talking to a product manager, a team manager or a buyer.
Your email address, which is the route our reply takes.
The contact page form asks for a few more details on top of these: a phone number, which is optional; your country; your organisation type (cycling brand, cycling federation, or race team or club race squad); and your engagement model (development to a spec pack, development with production handoff, or rework of an existing garment).
Beyond that, each form asks for project information that matches the subject of its page. Depending on the page, that can include your garment list, your size chart or size range, your race format or temperature band, your artwork, sponsor guidelines or colour standard, care instructions, whether you have a reference garment or a spec pack on file, and a free-text brief. Most forms also carry a checkbox for requesting an NDA before development starts.
Everything on these forms describes a garment project and the business contact who owns it. None of the forms asks for payment details, identity documents or anything about your private life.
To check it, open the form on any page and read the field labels; what you see is what is sent.
What Every Form Sends Automatically
When you press submit, a small amount of information goes along with what you typed. You do not fill it in, so it is listed here:
- The page address (
page_url)the form was sent from, so we know which garment or topic your enquiry started on. - The time of submission, which is also the moment the 48-hour feasibility review clock starts once your garment list, size chart and size range, and race format or temperature band are complete.
- The site domain and the form type,so that enquiries from this site are kept apart from enquiries reaching the same factory through its other sites.
- A hidden anti-spam field (a honeypot)that must stay empty. People never see it and never fill it. Automated scripts tend to fill every field they find, and a filled honeypot marks the submission as spam.
That is the complete list of what the forms add. They do not read your location, your contacts, or anything else from your device.
To check it, open your browser's developer tools, switch to the network panel, and submit a form. The request body shows every field that leaves your browser.
Where Your Enquiry Goes and Who Reads It
Every form on this site submits to form.lianf.com. This is a form-receiving service that we run ourselves, not a vendor's product. It passes each submission straight into our internal ERP, the system this business runs its development projects on.
Inside the ERP, your enquiry is read first by the development manager, who answers it and issues the feasibility review. If the project goes ahead, the people who work on your garments see the parts of your enquiry they need: the pattern maker for fit and grading, the sample technician for sewing and measurement, and the colour and print technician for strike-offs and colour cards. These are the same four roles introduced on our about page, and they are the only people your project information is meant for.
Your enquiry is not copied into a mailing platform, a marketing tool or a third-party CRM. It is not sold, rented or passed to anyone else for their marketing.
To check it, ask us by email who has opened your record and what they used it for. You will get an answer that names roles, not a phrase about authorised personnel.
What We Use Your Information For
We use what you send for three things, all of them part of the enquiry you started:
- Replying to your development enquiry. You get a reply within 24 hours on working days. If anything needed for the feasibility review is missing, that reply lists what is missing, in one go.
- Preparing your feasibility review. Once your garment list, your size chart and size range, and your race format or temperature band are all in, you get a feasibility review within 48 hours. It covers whether the garments can be developed to your specification, the suggested pattern and fabric direction, and the next step for sampling.
- Running development. If the project goes ahead, your information is used to make samples, run the revision rounds, sign colour cards and build the spec pack for your garments.
We do not use your details to send newsletters, and we do not put your email address on a mailing list.
If you send one enquiry and never write again, the only messages you receive from us are about that enquiry.
To check it, look at what arrives in your inbox after you submit a form. Every message should refer to your project.
Artwork, Size Charts and Reference Garments You Send Us
A development project usually comes with files and objects that belong to you: artwork files, sponsor logos and brand guidelines, size charts, reference garments posted to the development studio, and colour standards such as a physical swatch or a colour-system reference.
These are used for your project only.
- Your artwork is printed on your strike-offs.
- Your size chart sets the sizes in your spec pack.
- Your reference garment is measured for your rework.
- Your colour standard is what your colour cards are signed against.
None of it is reused on another client's project, and none of it is used to illustrate this website. The garments and photographs shown on these pages are not built from client files.
The same rule covers what we produce from your material. The patterns, cutting diagrams, spec pack and colour parameters made for your project are used on your project only. They are not reused for other clients and are not shown on this site.
To check it, look through the pages of this site for your sponsor marks, your colours or your garments. You will not find them, and you will not find anyone else's either.
Confidentiality and an NDA Before Development
If your project needs a signed agreement before any work begins, tick the NDA box on the form, or say so in your brief or in your reply.
We sign an NDA with you before development starts.
It puts the confidentiality described on this page into a signed document under your own name.
You do not need an NDA for your files to be kept to your project. That applies to every enquiry. The NDA is there for buyers whose own process requires one.
To check it, tick the NDA box on any form and ask in the same message for the agreement to be signed before you send files. Nothing goes into development until it is signed.
What the Web Host Records When You Load a Page
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like every web host, Cloudflare keeps request logs for the pages it serves. A request for a page here produces a log line with your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, and the browser string your software sends.
This happens whether or not you fill in a form, and it happens on every website.
A policy that says a site collects nothing at all from visitors is describing something that does not exist.
We do not join these log lines into a profile of you, we do not use them to work out which pages a particular person read, and we do not connect them to your enquiry. The commercially useful information on this site arrives through the forms, where you choose to send it. Cloudflare's handling of its own logs is covered by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
To check it, look at the response headers of any page on this site in your browser's developer tools; they show the page being served through Cloudflare.
The Outside Services This Site Uses
Three services outside your browser are involved when you use this site. This is the complete list:
Google Fonts.
fonts.googleapis.comfonts.gstatic.comThe typefaces on this site load from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. When your browser fetches a font, Google receives your IP address and browser information as part of that request. We do not receive that data from Google and do not use it.
Cloudflare Pages.
Cloudflare hosts the site and keeps the request logs described in the section above.
form.lianf.com.
Our own form-receiving service, which passes your submission into our ERP. It is operated by us, not by an outside vendor.
To check it, open the network panel in your browser's developer tools and reload any page. Apart from the site itself, the only outside domains you will see are the two Google Fonts addresses. A submitted form adds form.lianf.com.
WhatsApp Links Take You Off This Site
The WhatsApp button on this site is a plain link to wa.me, WhatsApp's own address for starting a chat. It is not a chat widget and it loads nothing from WhatsApp while you browse. Nothing passes to WhatsApp until you click it. Once you do, you leave this site and are in WhatsApp, where WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to the conversation.
There are no social media buttons or share widgets on this site, and no social tracking tag sits on its pages.
To check it, hover over the WhatsApp button and read the link address your browser shows. It is an ordinary link to wa.me.
No Cookies, Analytics, Pixels or Browser Storage
This site sets no cookies. Our scripts do not use your browser's localStorage or sessionStorage either. Every script on the site has been checked for both.
There is also no analytics script on this site: no Google Analytics, no Google Tag Manager, and no other visitor-counting tool. There are no advertising pixels, no heatmap or session-recording tools, and no third-party chat plugins. Nothing on these pages follows you to another website, and nothing builds a record of how you move through this one.
Because nothing is set, there is no cookie banner on this site and nothing for you to accept or decline.
To check it, open your browser's developer tools on any page and look at the cookie, localStorage and sessionStorage panels for procyclingapparel.com. They are empty.
How Long We Keep Enquiries and Project Files
Enquiries are kept as long as the business conversation needs them. When there is no longer a prospect of working together, the enquiry is deleted.
Project files are handled differently, because a race kit usually comes back for another season. At sign-off, the spec pack, the colour parameters and the revision log are handed to you in full.
We also keep them on file with your project, so that your next season or a repeat project starts from the same spec pack and the same colour standard rather than from scratch.
You can ask for your project archive to be deleted. If you would rather hold the only copy, the copy handed to you at sign-off is complete, and next season starts from that copy when you send it back.
To check what we hold for your project, email sales@procyclingapparel.com with your project name and ask for a list.
When Your Spec Pack Goes to Production in the Same Factory
If your engagement model is development with production handoff, the development manager passes your signed spec pack and project data to cyclingapparelfactory.com, the bulk production site of the same factory, for production.
You do not resend your files.
That site has its own pages, which cover production.
Asking to See, Correct or Delete Your Information
Email sales@procyclingapparel.com, ideally from the address you used for your enquiry, and say what you want:
- A copy of what we hold about you and your project.
- A correction to any detail that is wrong, such as your role, company or email address.
- Deletion of your enquiry, your project archive, or both.
You do not need to give a reason.
These rights apply to everyone who contacts us, wherever they are based.
To check it, send the request. The reply comes from the same inbox that handles development enquiries.
A Site for Business Buyers
procyclingapparel.com is a business-to-business site. It serves the people who buy race apparel development for cycling brands, cycling federations and race events, and race teams. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. The forms ask for a company and a role because every enquiry comes from someone buying on behalf of an organisation.
Changes to This Policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. We do not edit this page and leave the old date in place. If what we collect, where it goes or who reads it changes, the change is described in the relevant section here rather than summarised in a single line.
